The Call of the Woods

Lara stopped, looked down at December and sighed. "It's for your own good."

December sighed aswell

Lara could see the cabins through the trees.

December let her head lol back over laras arm boredly

Lara frowned at December's ankle. "I'm going to have to set once we get you inside."

" No." december said defiantly

Lara frowned. "It won't heal right if it isn't set, and that's worse."

December continued to shake her head defiantly

Arya trotted through the forest

Nessa looked to the woods, a place where she loved, but considering what hadjust happened to December, she decided otherwise, and went into the cabin to see if she could help

Lara looked up when she saw Nessa. "It was that spider-woman again. Rithuki, if I remember correctly..."

Nessa nodded. "What can I do to help?"

Lara set December down in her bed. "She broke her ankle, the bones need to be set."

Nessa looked at December "Well this might hurt a little" She said trying to sound happy

December cotinued to shake her head defiantly, her bunny ears flung aroun and smacked her in the face as she pulled her legs close and wrapped her arms around them, wincing when she accidently moves her ankel

Lara frowned. "It'll hurt worse if we don't, it'll heal improperly and will have to be broken again just to fix it."

December whined and pouted stubbornly as she continued to refuse

Lara rolled her eyes. "I'm about to set it myself."

"No." December finally said i her quiet high pitch voice and she hid her face behin her long ears

Lara sighed. "December, I have no choice."

Nessa looked sadly at December. "You can hold my hand if it helps, but Lara has to do this." She said extending her hand to December

Lara frowned. "How about you do it, Nessa. I've never done this before..."

December continued to shake her head and pout, she didnt want either of them to touch her ankel

Lara looked at December. "It has to be done, you don't want it to hurt more, right?"
